"Not on My Porch!" is an inspirational work addressing the universal need for acceptance: acceptance of self, others, God, forgiveness, pain, etc. The introduction acknowledges the need and search for acceptance that all people experience. Chapter one begins by telling the story of how a stray Russian Blue cat sought and found a home with the Mallory family. It ends with a spiritual application and the suppositional statement by God "Not on My Porch!" Scriptures follow to show how that statement is in harmony with God's position.
A cat experience related to a personal experience followed by spiritual application theme is pursued throughout the book. Each chapter ends with God making the same "Not on My Porch!" statement. Chapter titles are "cat phrases" with subtitles indicating the subject material addressed. Facts, humor, personal experience, and Scripture teachings have been woven together in a series of short reflections for the purpose of spiritual growth, encouragement, and easy reading.
