Listen! God is speaking to you.
Miss Nan often teaches that we speak to God in prayer, and He most often speaks to us through His Word. When the Lord laid it on her heart to write this book, she started thinking.
Many people know a lot about what God says in some books, but not in all of them, especially the minor prophets. Her purpose in writing this book is to let readers know what God says in all sixty-six.
However, when she started writing, she realized that there was too much material for one book. There are two volumes. This is the second; it covers all twenty-seven books of the New Testament.
Miss Nan spent many years in the educational field. She started as an English teacher, moved into administration, and served as president of a private junior college in Jackson, Mississippi.
It was in Jackson that she found her true calling, teaching the Word of God in a local church, Colonial Heights Baptist Church. Soon after becoming a member, she began to teach Sunday School, first to older women and currently to younger women, and periodically to men and women during a span of over thirty-five years.
Until a few years ago, Miss Nan believed her mission was in her local church. However, when a pastor of another church asked her to teach a Bible study to his congregation, she did not hesitate to agree to do so. She knew this was on her list of work in heaven.
Now, at age eighty-four, she is going out to churches as the Lord leads. She truly believes that in God’s work, it is always too early to quit.
