Teresa D. May is a native of Alabama and fifteen year transplant to California. While there, she attended college and remained after graduating because of church affiliation, career and marriage. She is a graduate of California State University at Long Beach where she received a B.S. degree in Business Administration. It is at Cal-State where she met her husband; pastor, minister, teacher, musician and author, Tom May.
Teresa’s gifts to the body of Christ were utilized as she faithfully served in ministry with her husband for 13 years as helpmate, administrator, teacher of the word and leader in Women’s Ministry. A stay-at- home mom for 12 years, where time was spent pouring into the lives of their three children, who continue to serve God in their adult lives.
Her shared vision was the catalyst for the organizing of a ministry to pastors’ wives in her city for the purpose of relationship building. She is given to hospitality and enjoys mentoring younger women in this forgotten ministry to the body of Christ. She is a Human Resources professional and volunteers on the Economic Empowerment Ministry at her church, Mt Gilead Full Gospel International Ministries.
She and her husband Tom’s 29 years of committed love in marriage have withstood the tests of time. They make their home in Richmond, Virginia.
