Born and raised in a small rural town, T. Ross Chase has lived a quiet life amid the White Mountains of New Hampshire. With no desire to live anywhere else, he still has had a keen interest in the American West, especially The High Lonesome, where the mountain man resided. When asked about his favorite author, he will tell you it is Louis Lamour. He has read every book he could get his hands on that Mr. Lamour wrote about life in those Western mountains. “I could always picture myself walking in the boots of those characters that Mr. Lamour wrote about.
