Tom Bart earned his master’s in education from the University of Minnesota and spent ten years in Tennessee designing, developing, and delivering training programs for a Fortune 500 company. Soon afterward, the author began to explore the well-being of American society. He examined American society for signs of the meaningful life, evidenced by activity, participation, contribution, and improvement.
