When I was a youth, I was very good at school. I could read, learn and speak on anything that was taught to me, but I couldn't voice my own thoughts. I found my journey with prayer the same. While I was a Roman Catholic, I excelled at learning the teachings and Catholic prayers, but when I became a Seventh Day Adventist, I found it difficult to voice a prayer from my heart. This book takes you through the journey, one that I found was not just applicable to me. Once I was given the tools to know how to do it, and then the encouragement to speak, I grew and became free. It is my prayer that others who are like me, can be freed to.


Laverne Proctor was born and raised in Bermuda, although she received higher education in New York and Canada. She says reading is her Number One hobby, having been an avid reader of many genres all her life. She has a quest for knowledge and will research on just about any topic, in order to get a clearer understanding. She is an avid traveler, and loves to see the different topographies, and especially to understand other cultures. Her supreme passion though is sharing knowledge with others. This is her second published work.
